To Whom It May Concern,

Today Jeff Sakari arrived at my door and presented me with an award – the award his company, The Green Man Landscape Services, won for the astonishing landscaping they did on my yard. My husband and I bought the property a year and a half ago. The corner lot in Kitsilano looked great at the time. But within a couple of months it looked like a swamp.

The builder had buried his construction debris under the lawn, and there was no drainage. The plants he’d put in were, to be blunt, boring and ill-suited for the light available. Jeff and his team sat down with us and talked about how to fix it.

The change is dramatic.

New drainage means the swamp is gone. Bushes and flowers bloom throughout the spring, summer and fall. It’s so beautiful that people walking by stop to compliment us on it. And we and our baby just love being out in our front and back yards.

Best of all, working with Jeff was a breeze. He’s professional, and honest about what can and can’t be done. He’s also got a great eye for how things should be laid out. There were times when I argued with him, but gave in, and am now glad I did.

I would recommend Jeff to anyone looking to begin a landscape project – whether it be big or small. I have every confidence he’d do the job right. And the BC Landscape and Nursery Association award now on my kitchen windowsill proves the point. Sincerely,
